Anna serves as the Consortium TBL-Infra Manager within the Future-proof Living Environment Program. She ensuring that the 33 participating entities collaborate effectively. Her role is providing support in achieving key objectives: reducing the Environmental Cost Indicator by 50%, allocating 10% of Replacement & Renovation budgets from at least five public authorities to innovative solutions, and establishing Digital Twins for over 255 civil engineering works. Additionally, the consortium strives towards the adoption of new norms and standards for bio-based and circular materials by at least 255 public authorities. Anna also oversees progress, threats, scalability opportunities, and ensures compliance with the complex administrative requirements associated with the program’s funding.
Before working at AMS Institute Anna co-founded the 1%Club, one of the first Dutch crowdfunding platforms, facilitating crowdfunding and crowdsourcing across 87 countries. From this initiative, GooodUp was launched, a SaaS company offering an all-in-one employee engagement platform encouraging teams to support causes they care about, enhancing business sustainability and social responsibility. She also co-founded Nailab, a Nairobi-based tech hub selected by Jack Ma for his ‘African entrepreneur ‘program. Recently, Anna has worked as a scaling-up coach for purpose-driven companies, including Poland's largest car-sharing company, a Belgian leader in reconditioning steel drums, and a French specialist in advanced environmental intelligence solutions.
Anna, lives in Overveen with her family, authored two books—"De Poolster" and "Kilimanjaro as Medicine"—narrating her ascent of Kilimanjaro in just shorts and a T-shirt alongside Wim Hof, known as the Iceman.
To maintain a livable environment, it's crucial to adopt new ways of thinking and acting, especially within a timeframe that's too narrow and with limited resources. Amsterdam, along with the AMS Institute, is leading this charge, making it the ideal place to be!
