Ioannis role at AMS Institute is to bridge the gap between research, education and entrepreneurship, with a goal to bring the innovative ideas of AMS students and researchers to life and to the market. He is doing that through the AMS Startup Booster program; a program that focuses on business concept development and validation and has helped dozens of teams to test the business potential of their ideas.
Together with the Startup Booster, Ioannis was the program manager of the EIT UM Accelerator for Hub West, which helped 10 early-stage startups in the mobility sector to scale. Prior to these activities, Ioannis was also organizing the Climate Launchpad competition in collaboration with Climate KIC, for two years, as one of the national coaches for the Netherlands.
Throughout these years his main motivation has been his genuine passion to help young entrepreneurs develop their dream business and reach their full potential; And what better place to do that than Amsterdam, one the most innovative and startup-friendly cities in the world.
