Laxmi Haigh is an environmental writer, editor, and research professional with a Research MSc from the University of Utrecht. She has worked in sustainability and circular economy for ten years as a journalist and a lead author of the global Circularity Gap Reports. She now works on strategic content, storytelling, PR, and communications at the AMS Institute.

Over the past ten years, Laxmi has immersed herself in research and creating content to strategically advance the global transition to a sustainable future. She has built up skills in journalism and storytelling across multiple platforms in mainstreaming the notion of the Global Circularity Gap, championing an alternative protein future and campaigning for systems-thinking in solving today's polycrisis. She has managed Editorial teams and implemented content and editorial processes in complex research institutions.

Laxmi is from England, Ireland, and Guyana but has called the Netherlands home for the past ten years. She has long been eager to contribute to sustainable shifts on the local level, making AMS Institute the ideal spot for her.
