As an office assistant at the AMS Institute, Lennic support the organization of events and the daily operations of the office. His usual tasks include preparing meeting rooms, assisting staff and visitors, and ensuring that our shared facilities are stocked and in working order.

Additionally, he is a first-year student in the MSc MADE program at AMS, currently working on his final project of the year, researching potential solutions for challenges that arise during the (re)development of metropolitan areas, and applying these to current developments in Amsterdam.

During his bachelor's degree, which he also did in Amsterdam, Lennic became familiar with the challenges that Amsterdam faces regarding the built environment from an architectural perspective, specializing in social housing during his thesis period and redevelopment of industrial to residential areas in his minor. For Lennic, the MADE master is the ideal progression in his educational career.

Lennic recently assisted with organizing the AMS scientific conference, providing support wherever needed. This experience gave him valuable insight into the level of on-site organization required to successfully execute such an event.

As part of the office, Lennic is also a member of the emergency response team of AMS. Becoming a part of this has made him realize that he wants to attain a full EHBO certificate.
