Marjolijn’s role is focused on the formulation and implementation of AMS Institute's HR goals, such as the organizational design, the R&O cycle, (personal) employee development, the terms of employment and the clarification of HR processes. Of course, she also focuses on the so-called softer aspects, such as employee well-being and the culture of the organization.
Together with Esther Wennekes, they form the AMS HR team and they are both involved in filling vacancies, appointing employees and solving individual issues. All this often in coordination with the HR departments at the parent organizations TU Delft and WUR, where many of the AMS employees are employed.
Marjolijn has around 15 years of experience in HR, mostly in an international context. Next to this, she also educates at a HRM Bachelor’s degree. The combination of international and education is reflected in AMS Institute. The ambitions of AMS Institute together with the highly engaged staff members makes it an ultimate fit for Marjolijn.
“Proactively facilitating the people and their organization to reach their potential, for me, that should be one of the qualities of HR.”
