Nina is a PhD candidate under the wings of the 4TU Centre for Engineering Education. In her research, she looks into the way engineering students learn in transdisciplinary learning environments and living labs. Her involvement at AMS Institute offers her the ideal opportunity to study living labs in close proximity.
At the TU Delft, Nina is part of the chair of Urban Development Management at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. With promoters Ellen van Bueren (TU Delft/ AMS Institute) and Perry den Brok (Wageningen University), Nina can tap into expertise on sustainable urban development processes as well as on education and learning sciences.
Previously, Nina worked as program developer for education at AMS Institute. As such, she was, and still is, involved in the development of the joint degree master program MSc MADE.
Nina holds two master of science degrees from the TU Delft - one in Urbanism and one in Science Communication. Also in her PhD, she hopes to learn from working on the fringe between two scientific fields.
“And always remember to keep on learning.”
