Dr. Zhikai Peng joined AMS and the Urban Comfort Lab in 2022. His research focuses on multi-domain comfort assessments (heat, noise, glare, air quality) in urban environments, as part of the Climate Resilient Cities project at the Field Lab Haarlemmermeer. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Architectural Engineering and Technology (AE&T) Department at Delft University of Technology.

“Human comfort is multifaceted. As urban engineers, our job is to develop dynamic comfort solutions for everyone, at any time, and in every part of the city.”
