July 16&17 the selected teams of the AMS Climate Launchpad will participate in a bootcamp accelerate their business idea.
Who can apply to AMS Climate Launchpad?
The AMS Climate Launchpad is aimed at young and eager entrepreneur who wants to tackle climate change and make our cities more sustainable at the same time. We help them fast-track their innovative idea to the next level.
We welcome innovations in renewable energy, energy efficiency, food and agriculture, water, transportation, industrial technology or in any other field, as long as your idea is trying to fix climate change in the urban environment.
What is the process?
Share your innovative idea with us by applying through the link that you can find below under the heading “how to apply”. Early July we will select a number of teams to our bootcamp which takes place on the 16th & 17th of July (please note that this is during Summer break, but bootcamp is mandatory to proceed in the process). After bootcamp, a number of dedicated sessions will be organized to prepare you for our National Finals in September. The top 2, will go on towards the Grand (international) Finale in November. The winner of the Grand Final receives € 10,000, the runner up gets € 5,000 and the idea that comes in third place wins € 2,500. In addition, the top-10 selected in the semi-finals win a place on the Climate-KIC Accelerator (subject to the terms of the applicable Climate-KIC Accelerator).
