Cities are getting hotter - understanding how to mitigate the effects of climate change will become increasingly important.
In this summer school, we will focus on what urban science is doing to unveil the causes of urban heat and what we could do to mitigate the effects. We will investigate the role of urban green in thermal comfort, what sensing tools can be leveraged to understand the problem, identify design principles that could be applied, and much more!
