Despite the current crisis, green entrepreneurs across the globe continue to create positive climate impact and economic opportunities. A record number of 3,000 start-ups from 56 countries entered this year’s edition of ClimateLaunchpad, the global green business ideas competition.
ClimateLaunchpad is part of the entrepreneurship offerings by EIT Climate-KIC, the EU’s main climate innovation initiative. Its mission is to unlock global cleantech potential and to accelerate innovations that address climate change.
First edition Regional Final Europe
As the competition keeps on expanding, the need arose for Regional Finals leading up to the annual Global Grand Final. This year 6 Regional Finals will be organised. Where some other regions already held Regional Finals in previous years, this year marks the first edition for Europe with the best performing cleantech start-ups from 14 countries pitching their ideas.
The event is set for September 10, will be hosted online and is free for all to join. The future of green business unfolds as teams battle it out for a spot at the 2020 Global Grand Final later this year.
Just like the entire competition this year, the Regional Finals Europe will be a fully virtual event. Accessible to all and unconstrained by time, space, travel or CO2.
Here you’ll find the latest news about speakers, start-ups, workshops, and the entire program. Be part of the green wave and register today for Europe’s largest green business event.
